The beauty industry, and cosmetic surgeons rely on our insecurity. When we embrace our flaws, they lose business. Self confidence in spite of our flaws is the most anti-capitalist punk shit you can do. Moisturize, drink water, wear sunscreen and fuck the system.

Watched the ANTM documentary on Netflix last night. The 90's/ early 00s were a completely different animal, and looking at it through a current lens is so interesting. But I call bullshit on the excuses they were using about it being "a different time" and "they didn't know". /1

I watched the full interview, and while I am glad he is heavily opposed to the current state of affairs, he still has a lot of moderate views that I think is what pushed a lot of working class people further right. (aside from the racism of course)
I appreciate Obama in a lot of ways, but moderates really are a problem, especially ones who are profiting from a broken system.
I am absolutely compassionate for those who struggle artistically, but I call bunk. Almost every art community I have ever been a part of has been super inclusive and wanting to share/teach, for this exact reason. And they are /everywhere/. Art and Gaming communities are the most welcoming.

I also encourage friends and loved ones to steal me a spoon when they travel as a souvenir. The shenanigans of petty larceny creates a memory money can’t buy. I have a pretty decent spoon collection because of it.
