Thanks for your continued attention to this. There is no peace without justice (and accountability), so may this be a thorn in Gabbard's side always. It was incredibly sad to read about the internal division among staff on this issue. Better leadership would help.

Exactly. It feels like sweet peace to get to a place where one's mistakes, shortcomings & failures are put into perspective.
I define myself (after careful reflective assessment); others' negative opinions of me no longer feel so upsetting. No matter, even, if people poke fun of me!

A thorough but very concise report *and* a top-notch journalistic assessment of its import. So good. MacFarlane will definitely land on his feet in the advancement of his career, won't he?

IF my GOP congresspeople kowtow to Trump's bullying and rush to pass the voter suppression SAVE Act at Trump's orders, yes we *will* be making fun of their spinelessness.

Exceptionally nice graphics, tastefully arranged. I'm going to temporarily affix the couple yard flags I just bought to poster board for the No Kings 3/28 rally; whew our posters are now done already!

This assessment of Trump's need for turmoil (an overwhelming drive for it) rings true, but I'd say that it's more an automatic result of a personality-disordered type rather than any intellectual strategy. Our knowledge of how to deal with his psychological profile is key to a successful response.

Also what a sick sick man. He was wealthy while she was working class. He extorted HER.

Civilians have had apparent seizures. One had his eyes roll back. Another had ribs broken.

β€œI felt like I was going to pass out and die,” said a 16-year-old citizen put in a chokehold.

The government won’t say if any agents have been punished.

In contrast to the coverup of the EPSTEIN crimes here in America, there are ongoing investigations in the UK, France, Turkey, Poland, Latvia & Lithuania that is sure to expose his central, filthy role in the largest crimes against humanity case in world history. #AccountabilityIsComing

They need to blink twice if they need help. They got trapped in a cycle of abuse. They should quit to regain their dignity & independence.

We know you need to be diplomatic but what I'll do is tell my lawmakers that we'd never allow a 4-year-old child to throw a tantrum which hijacks our oversight, so why would they allow Trump to bully them into passing the SAVE Act. Maybe lawmakers could debate pros & cons & decide not to pass it.

You are just so good with your ability to zero in on the financial grift, Senator Warren. Whom are you mentoring to carry on in that role after you retire? It feels like you are almost irreplaceable on some aspects; not good. Keep up that mentoring as well as your activism, thanks

The justifiably snarky comments to this post which are filled with such clever ridicule provides some much needed psychological relief. Glad to know that ridicule is sometimes a great pushback to fascism.

A critical message and such a gorgeous photo of mural art. And right below your post in my feed today: a story of an actual U.S. citizen, who happens to have a resident alien-sounding type of name, was oppressed also.
By taking a moment for spiritual sustenance to name transgressions, we persist!

My U.S. House Rep couldn't be more oil-loving. Of course because she's bought by their lobbyists. Thanks for this, I need to contact her to tell her what damage she has done

Aha, so if the Trump administration continues to just deny and/or cover it up, maybe Trump and some officials will be tried for war crimes someday? Such consequences usually happen years later, so it's another way everything is a long journey. But yes to eventual consequences

I appreciate your extensive Alt details; I like to review them for clues how to interpret art pieces. I ended up additionally researching a peaches as art symbolism; I really like this piece.

Love the "vital sap of their virtues and turning it into our own life-blood" phrase. I hesitate to use the term "virtue" in today's culture because it seems like an automatic conversation-killer, but yes please we need more attention to Christian moral/ethical livingπŸ™

The people who find "the rigor of philosophy" so humorous may not have taken many philosophy classes in college? I took a few and found them fascinating ... until I ended up in a class with just essay exams & I had to drop it because I didn't have enough background in logical argument techniques
