Resident Evil Requiem in a sentence: βWhat if Resident Evil 6 was good?β
βRemember what I saidβ¦β Yeah. About that. Itβs almost impressive how confidently wrong that prediction aged.

PSA: Ridge Racer Type 4 OST is now available on streaming platforms with lossless audio.
Yes
Time for the monthly.
YO AMERICA. ARE WE COOKED?
Huh. SCOTUS actually did something.
ICYMI: Kentucky leaders reacted to a unanimous Supreme Court ruling striking down a 2022 law that created a public funding mechanism for charter schools. The justices say funding for Kentucky charter schools would only be possible with a constitutional amendment. #kyga26

Having a touch language is great.
It has its tactical advantages.
Happy Meat Day [2/9]
Damn.
As a reminder, you can blast past the face scan with Death Stranding's photo mode.
I'm never sending a government-issued ID to a company that has proven to fumble that bag at an alarmingly disastrous fashion already.
Oh yeah, almost forgot: BAD BUNNY HAS BEEN HERE BEFORE. Y'all member Shakira and J.Lo in 2020? They were the headliners, he wasn't.
28-21 Seahawks
I guess my final point here is that a halftime show is just that: The halftime show of one of the biggest annual events in the NFL and television. What you take out of it is entirely yours, not what someone else says it is.
Don't let a group determine what you're supposed to like and don't like.
Super Bowl ain't woke, but I betcha someone else that barely knows what "woke" is told you it was. The Super Bowl isn't political, the pundits told you it was. Football isn't... wait, nah, that's different now. Damn.
This event isn't political despite what your chronically online pundit says.
That last one was hyperbolic af; and also, petty. I don't care.
I watch things because I'm interested in those things and it's not due to personal politics but personal views, values, beliefs. I don't need to be sold on Bad Bunny and Green Day. If I need to be convinced to hear Kid Rock, nah.
I'm not watching the alternative show as I've got no interest in it and I have a conflict. Some generic pfp online will probably say I missed the "greatest most American halftime show ever" while a someone in sunglasses in their car will tell me I'm some weird Spanish lib for having darker skin.
I'm going to watch the Seahawks and Patriots game. I'm going to watch the Bad Bunny halftime show (because it'll be lit). I'm gonna check out all the wild commercials that'll come from this Sunday. I'll finish up the last season of Orphan Black after.
At no point was politics a part of that.
Meanwhile, the alternative show only exists from being political show and hell. They're banking on your views to align with theirs, so you watch it instead of that, rather than "watch it AND that" (which is what they're going to do anyway, because they have to see the competition to shit on it).
Now remember: The Super Bowl Halftime Show is not inherently political. You can watch it as anyone and hate/love it for any reason whatsoever, because you can actually watch a thing and enjoy/dislike it for what it is. Bad Bunny and Green Day won't make it political; but your views and tastes will.
So anyways, the expectation is to rival the Super Bowl. That's a bold-ass claim considering the Super Bowl on average has 100m+ in viewership; and unless you have bots propping up the stream numbers, you ain't getting near that even with the popular vote in 2024 (133.5m w/Kendrick > 77.3m).
Thank fuck this is streamed online and not on any major networks... unless you refer to OAN as a "major network"
(Spoiler: It isn't. This is coming from a guy who had confused FOX News with liberal new networks in undergrad w/o doing research. I had made my mistake, I have since learned. TF.)
The "alternative" is a not-so-latest hits of D-listers aiming for the fences with an audience of hyper-politicized folks instead of their actual fanbases, using this event as a vehicle for conservative frustration with the current state of entertainment with a [not-so-] family friendly alternative.
