A large vandaceous orchid, Angraecum sesquipedale. It has glaucous green leaves with hand-sized flowers that have greenish white lips and petals with green sepals. Each flower has an incredibly long spur that is as long as the plant itself.

Paphiopedilum Golden Palace is a hybrid of Paph. Memoria Larry Heuer x Paph. armeniacum. The bright yellow flower has a slipper shaped lip and a fascinating red-orange tessellated yellow staminode. Once I show it to my fellow nerds at the orchid club meeting next Wednesday, I'll probably cut it off in favor of leafy vibes. 🌱🪴
