Cinema that last fight is something special.
I think really the greatest loss in the great shortening of TV series across all countries is the complete erasure of slice of life/sitcom elements. Mecha was better when it was a slice of life too.

I am going to be forever angry about this. There was time. Millions were made off the back of his writings. Potentially *billions* and he had to use GoFundMe up until the end.

Peter David had the biggest impact on both comics Sam and MCU Sam's writing
The comics industry is horrid to the creatives, paying them shit and keeping all the profits of the creations.
Bill Finger died penniless, and he's the real creative power behind BATMAN. Fuck, Bob Kane who stole all the credit and money.
Peter, like Bill, deserved better. He gave us so much.
It's not obscene at all to say that the entertainment industry abandoned Peter David. It's just, you know, true. The truth is the obscene part.

Rest In power Peter David to one of my favorite writers. His works till this day are forever so prevalent to me. Will have to do some reads soon through some of my favorite runs of his. Might peep some of his star trek novels as well
a terrible thing about the last ten or twenty years of comics is seeing how many massive talents are still with us and in poor health, dying young, forever freelancers that gave their physical health to make things that now fuel the biggest blockbusters ever. It’s not right.
