the composition is absolutely stunning!!! love the expression, it really makes the piece more interesting

agreed! i understand the need to talk badly about art but it's preferred if it's done privately. it's also discouraging to artists who may admire you and want to be as good as you but all they can see is you constantly criticizing, belittling your own creation

it's really important to be kind to yourself and your own creations

i noticed when i excitedly share my wips and talk about how i love certain aspects of these wips, more people are likely to engage with these wips!

if anything it's so much better to find positives in your own (commissioned) works, it makes clients *more* excited. the more you engage with your own art positively, the more it gets positive feedback

i definitely subconsciously avoid artists who don't enjoy drawing commissioned pieces or certain themes because it'd make me feel bad to burden them

guys who do commissions you need to stop calling ur art negative stuff 😭 why would someone want to spend their hard earned money on something you, as the creator, call trash or lazy? put value in your work and respect your clients too 😔
