Pierre manipulated his way back into the House, and got the guy he booted to run a cherry executive position at a Conservative think-tank.
As with Trump, every accusation is a self-tell. #CDNpoli
The oligarchy?
LLM AI is an abject failure. It is anti-human in every way. We need to ban this shit Dune-style.
Praise Winter! Ah, sweet frozen sleetsnow falling! So speak of my fragility! blow spears of shredded cicles - glaze the world in icy whiteness 'cross the bricks and mortar surety of our crystal snowflake weakness to show how thin our modest comforts are with coldest arctic airs; and wreak your howling vengeance on our humbleness laid bare as you scream in whitewinds wending that our lives you could be ending should we stray into your frozen fury more than minutes-briefly, without our fleece-lined, zippered gortex. You command and you receive our vilest respect When your bitter ice-lined message with our very bones does intersect and I glory in the wonder of your winter-whistle blast that speaks of all the souls you stole in your season's kingdom past I cherish every frozen shard that patters on my face I value every frigid hammerblast of your freezing arctic mace For you speak in a simple, violent honesty that puts the grandness of humanity and all the arrogance of our supposed mastery in it's rightful place.
Here's a piece from a couple years back to, I dunno, maybe make the cold a little better? 'Praise Winter!' - click the alt for the poetry.

Well after a long BS hiatus, I figured I'd log into @alttextpoetry.bsky.social and publish a recent piece. Been a while, looks like there's even new features!
Ugh day shift.
You should be using alt text.
Okay so I'm not really keeping up with the idea...
I've been very... Depressed lately. It's the world, really. But I'm going to try to crawl back to social media here.
Gotta stay connected! Ha. Haha. :/

OMG man, ED too?? We'll have to fight over her. (Hahahaa, no we won't!)
I didn't see this before I went about finding it and copying the ALT text in.
It's such a beautiful poem. One of the first ones I ever decided to own! (Memorized!)
The Darkling Thrush by Thomas Hardy I leant upon a coppice gate When Frost was spectre-grey, And Winter's dregs made desolate The weakening eye of day. The tangled vine-stems scored the sky Like strings of broken lyres, And all mankind that haunted nigh Had sought their household fires. The land's sharp features seemed to be The Century's corpse outleant, His crypt the cloudy canopy, The wind his death-lament. The ancient pulse of germ and birth Was shrunken hard and dry, And every spirit upon earth Seemed fervourless as I. At once a voice arose among The bleak twigs overhead In a full-hearted evensong Of joy illimited; An aged thrush, frail, gaunt, and small, In blast-beruffled plume, Had chosen thus to fling his soul Upon the growing gloom. So little cause for carolings Of such ecstatic sound Was written on terrestrial things Afar or nigh around, That I could think there trembled through His happy good-night air Some blessed Hope, whereof he knew And I was unaware
This immediately brought to mind one of absolutely favourite poems. 'The Darkling Thrush', by Thomas Hardy.
I just posted a fresh new poem over at @alttextpoetry.bsky.social - go check out 'A Tarnishing of Silver'! #poem #poetrysky #poetsofBluesky

It's a melancholy little piece about a Facebook unfriending.
