“Instead of paying humans to join focus groups and complete surveys, Aaru uses thousands of AI agents, or bots, to simulate human responses. It feeds demographic and psychographic information into its models to create human profiles that match clients’ needs…”
It’s very unsettling that they are so giddy at the prospect of creating artificial life only to make it suffer
The math rocks do not have anxiety and gambling websites are not sources for breaking news.
To have any chance of making a profit, the AI bros have to convince everyone and then some to use their statistical bullshit generators.
Because so many have bought into the bullshit, and Dunning-Krugered their way into believing that they're creating something useful, it guarantees a tslopnami.

Enjoying a good-ass classic song and Diddy pops up in the middle:
i keep this new years card/zine from @sarahmccarry.bsky.social open on my coffee table, because
Most communities offered that trade off from the cruise industry don't have the political power (or tourism from other sources) that my community has to be able to get a bill passed in a matter of weeks, they're in countries where their tourism industry relies heavily on cruise passengers.
"mdni" on bluesky is so funny dawg everyone here was alive when watergate broke
Feature not a bug. It something and the opposite of that something are both against the rules, it just means they can arrest you whenever they want to
somewhat related: am somewhat amused that so many people think this account is a serious natsec/FP place when it's more or less run by a NEET faildaughter
hey let’s send emails tomorrow, ok?
Take a break from human folly; watch rocks being born in a fiery red fountain from the very bowels of the earth.
It actually rules to watch LLM centrism develop in real time. "Ok yes, tech bros are taking things way too far but LLM skeptics are just as silly, surely we can all agree that it's a transformative new technology and we all need to get onboard" and like, bro. Bro. We know who's side you're really on
Specifically, I think this sentiment was common among 1. Men (and some women) 2. Who thought it was simply WRONG for a woman to be commander-in-chief, and 3. Made up whatever other reasons they felt were required in order to justify this belief
5/ And on the Strait of Hormuz, they had NO PLAN. I can't go into more detail about how Iran gums up the Strait, but suffice it say, right now, they don't know how to get it safely back open.
Which is unforgiveable, because this part of the disaster was 100% foreseeable.
This happened.
Desperately trying to think of something other than what the fuck is happening everyday.

this is the kind of content that ends up getting censored with crackdowns on sex and queer content. people trying to help queer (or straight) homeless kids trying to navigate safe ways to get it on--and they will encounter it either way, just like every kid will
“let them eat ‘better than nothing.’”
NBC News poll Voters hold negative views of Al. In fact, the only topics less popular in the survey were the Democratic Party and Iran.
Truly a perfect news alert
Y'all this is such an amazing thing that is happening right now. Get some amazing crafts, fund an amazing cause.
Yesterday, Energy Secretary Wright said that I was wrong "on both counts" when I said that the WH had no plan going into the war with Iran and it's not surprising they also failed to account for the SPR. Then he lied about oil ships being escorted through Hormuz. I stand by my initial observation.
Notice he is getting rotator cuff surgery from an actual trained expert and not doing his own "research" or trying pseudo remedies!
This happens all the time, those who peddle medical misinformation are frequently the first to rush to medical solutions.
