Whoop whoop whoop!
Whoop whoop whoop!
Watched it, and I will now vote for whichever party in the Senedd promises to stop you doing this.
Some of us aren't on strike, we're just lazy.
Yes it is, and they absolutely should. Sorry it hasn't taken off this time, but I'll keep cheering it on.
Daleks are also Welsh, fwiw. Pit us in charge of all the money.
This is hilarious.
Also, completely enraging.
The "this is fine" dog meme with the text changed to say "so I have a book coming out"
Hello, my middle grade novel The Unfinished Business came out last week.
I worked really hard on it, and I hope you'll check it out! It's available wherever you get your books.
You know the best way to kill AI? Don't use it. Don't buy it. Don't share it. Don't give the people who use it your labour or your money.
This! I've been travelling for work these past 10 days, and I've given up trying to find locations on the Met Office app. I've switched to the BBC Weather website. Much easier.
Yikes! And I'm glad that we've finally hit double figures here. It's a balmy 12 degrees Celsius in London today.
Thanks all who bought my ebooks on Kindle during the World Book Day week offer. It means a lot, and I really hope you enjoy them π
The offer (99p/99c each) ends tonight, and itβd be great if you fancy giving them a go.
Many thanks! Pls share π

Welcome to middle age. And happy birthday!
Story-building sessions for reluctant (and not so reluctant) young writers.
Cheers! Just waiting for the coffee to kick in.
Cardiff Central station at dawn.
Bristol bound for another day of workshops with young writers.
That looks fantastic.
Grrr indeed.
I think I know exactly which graphic you're talking about. And it's not their first offence.
I'm exhausted! But very happy.
A school hall with desks and chairs, and the brilliant Usborne Community Partner, Colleen.
A view along the river in Reading at dawn.
Today, I've been in Tadley Community Primary School with the brilliant Colleen from Usborne Community Partners. Such a fun and welcoming school, celebrating its 150th birthday this year. Great kids, in great costumes, telling great stories. A real carnival atmosphere. #KidLit #KidLitUK
The entrance to Grange Park Primary School. The sign features a stylised line drawing of a prancing stag.
Author P.G. Bell, who could definitely take Michael Morpurgo in a fight, posing with two young female readers in the school library. One girl looks happy to be there, the other looks like she's being held hostage. She's also being made to hold a cardboard standee advertising P.G. Bell's book, The Beanstalk Murder, in a totally naturalistic fashion. It was definitely her own idea. Yup.
I had an amazing three days visiting schools in Enfield, with back-to-back author talks and story-building workshops. Met hundreds of super enthusiastic and imaginative kids, who really threw themselves into it. Happy World Book Day! #KidLit #KidLitUK
You was robbed on the writing front, but congratulations on the wins!
Happy book birthday! ππ
A copy of The Unfinished Business, showing a night-time cityscape with glowing windows. A girl stares out of one window at three ghosts floating overhead. Next to a copy of the book is a wind-up ghost.
We have ghosts!! The Unfinished Business is now in shops, libraries, or wherever else you get your books today!
Happy reading, friends!

Sickening. This is a betrayal of every screenwriter, playwright, poet and novelist in the UK. Weβve had copyright laws since around 1710 and they intend to upend all of that to help feed billionaire tech companies. π‘

Good luck!
Thanks. Me too.
I emailed my (Labour) MP, @annamcmorrin.bsky.social about this last year, got no reply, and she's consistently voted to let international tech companies steal my work for their own profit. Now the government seems willing to ignore the results of its own consultation.
This - after a public consultation that came down c95% against corporate copyright theft - is a hearty move towards this governmentβs spineless purchased representatives needing to be hoofed in the crotch by us all, in a big queue until they get the message.
