Those look so good. :D
I'm glad you and Raz are still together. Give that Yoshi an affectionate poke from me. Its been ages, and I'm not known as Tora anymore, but I hope he remembers me. π

Illustration done by me of a little yellow pig, who is actually a lemon holding a penny in his mouth. The text says for luck.
Itβs dangerous out there! Take this!

Oh wow, and he's voiced by Michael Dorn (Worf of Star Trek fame).
It doesn't matter how you do things, it just matters that you do them.
You did a lot yesterday! Thank you so much for coming, it was a treat to visit with you.

Got me thinkin' thoughts that have me squirming in a good way.
A stormy sunset at the Oregon Coast, dark clouds frame a dimly golden yellow sky. Cape Lookout Point can be seen on the right along the distant horizon of the Pacific.
The last rays of Spring from yesterday's sunset, as seen from Sandlake's "Cellphone Hill". I had a great time for this year's Highsummer and reveled in the height of solar energy. βοΈ
A little bit of a day-drink while gardening as a treat.
Your chicken naming game is on point.
Treating myself to a diner breakfast, followed by a deep clean of myself (and the bathroom), capped off with a sauna session. Needed to take some time and focus on my health, hygiene, and presentation. Gotta look and feel your best!
Quatro leches, en esta economia!? Looks delicious ~
An indoor greenhouse showing a variety of tropical and carnivorous plants.
A close up of two pitcher plant pots with new basal growths and freshly trimmed vines.
Trimmed up the dead leaves off the pitcher plant vines, gave the fern a thinning, and set the spider plants for a tropical vacation. Excited about the new basal growths on the pitchers that the fern was hiding. It's a much happier greenhouse.
I'm on the other side of that coin. Lol
Wow, yes, they did turn into a hot mess. I'd prefer a spun version that would then felt more evenly and with structure.
Some good heat and agitation for some shrinking, and you'll have a felted blanket, which could be super warm and comfy.
Needed a stout beer and some old anime tonight. Watching Bubblegum Crash.
Oh, man. That is a tough day and some hard realizations to come to.
Biggest commitment to a 3 second joke I've ever seen
Hey there. Sorry you're having a rough time of it. Reach out for help, and we'll be there for you. Even if it's just a quick care package drop. π¦ π
That looks like such a fun time! Happy Birthday!
Re-read an old love letter from my partner that he wrote years ago, before the pandemic. I honestly needed to hear those words again and to recognize how far we've come together. Life is too crazy and the journey is too short to not walk alongside another lovely human.
Power is out and not expected to restore until 10:30p. Within 5 minutes, I had a candle going in every room. Now relaxing with a fire in the fireplace and the chiming of the clock. It's rather cozy tbh.
Spent the day going through the garage and marking out some things for a garage sale. It'll be nice to pare down a lot of this extra I've been hanging onto.
New project identified.
But surely, just one more coder will get us back on schedule...
Got the news that Grandpa is in the hospital. I've been meaning to visit him for a while, and now I fear it may be too late. Waiting for an update and to talk about if a visit is still an option. A flight to LA and everything that goes with that is gonna be a challenge.
Spider Plant in a brown hanging pot. Fresh green growth with a daughter plant vine-runner dangling off the edge
Pro tip for houseplant hunting: Reptile Expos. They have direct from nursery vendors with great selections.
Adopted a Spider Plant who came with a daughter already well on the way. She was $4.
I've always wanted a nice Spider Plant, and now I have a lovely specimen.
