Arthur's always been extra sensitive to the energy. After a breakthrough discovery and subsequent defection from his shady employers gone awry, plus his younger sibling developing strange, new powers, all of it culminates in Arthur accidentally falling into a chasm of pure ROOT energy. (poor guy!)

for context, in lore there's a reality bending energy that permeates the world (called ROOT energy) it's given some humans supernatural powers (called Specters). it's incredibly dangerous to be near high concentrations, Specter or not, but that hasn't stopped Arthur, as a researcher.

WHEW a few days' worth of chipping away at this & fighting w/ my video editor but i knew once i heard this meme that i had to toss my OC Arthur into the mix :'D i had such a distinct image in my head w/ how it'd look.. hes from my OC story of mine, hehe! loredump/yap incoming, please bear w me...🤧
