I feel bad saying this but I think Volition were not a good enough game studio to be able to keep saints row going strong. The reboot was super dated. For a while before they were closed, it felt like the quality bar was too low for them and people expected better than what they knew how to provide.

There's something off about this game. Both trailers have had the exact same "interview" concept only focusing on the humor. We don't know much else and still haven't seen any real gameplay yet. I don't trust this is actually releasing in 2026.
