So good.
So good.
Whoa. Now that's a unique performance!
It's a tribal thing at this point. It's rooting for the home team. Nothing to do with policy, etc.
Whoa! With all the crazy news this is something I hadn't heard about. Thanks for your take on this.
I saw her live at the Blue Note in NYC! Many years ago, a wonderful memory.
There's something deeply obscene and broken about the fact that Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth are bombing elementary schools in an illegal war of aggression, and there's still a sense among the opposition that it has to be explained in terms of gas prices in order to get American voters to care.
Does anybody know who's leading the No-War-On-Iran movement? How do I sign up?

I dig this line:
"...Life doesn't have to be fair but why does it have to be so evil?..."
An expensive wrinkle for US taxpayers to fund.
Wow so good! I miss them too.
I know, right? Have no idea who, what, or where these posts are!
I'm so sad for those families. Guns and bullets should be much more strongly regulated and restricted. What if Open AI reported this account before crimes were committed? When does AI being the police itself? We're living in the future and it's not clear how we want this to go.
Vertical bar graph of average tax payments under Trump by income groups showing all income ranges pay more taxes of $460 to $980 (5 small yellow bars going up) except for the top 4% paying $160 less (a small black bar going down) and the top 1% paying $8,850 less in a dramatically long black bar going down.
Thanks to the Institute of Taxation and Economics for this graph.
Chart showing the Big Beautiful Bill cut food assistance by $187 million and added $191 million to ICE, CBP and other DHS functions.
Sharing from a Balloon Juice post:
"She sustained a torn rotator cuff, concussion and bruised ribs during the incident and received medical treatment at a hospital..."

We're down to 2 of the 5.
My God, this corrupt pardon happened just two days ago!
I love this woman! Pitch perfect witness, makes me tear up at how everyday Minnesotans are teaching us about commu ity, about being a good neighbor.
Really nice to see the Minnesotan heroism called out.
Your writing is excellent--for knowledge of the topic, and the way you illuminate in very understandable language. Just excellent!
This headline appropriately uses active tense. Ethical, accurate and professional journalism. Thank you.
Your list forgot all the grift and corruption
#Minnesotans: it's not just the city folks who've won my heart and admiration. These rural farmers bringing truth and much needed reportage about how ICE and this regime have harmed the agricultural business and families. #ICE

Same!
Thank you! This gives me strength and hope. Makes me want to buckle up, put shoulder to wheel, put elbows up and such instead of wallowing in despair!
He has no shame, so very little limits him now.
I don't like the idea of private militias of any flavor. The vast majority of them are right-wing. We need well-regulated law enforcement only, and the rest of us with the freedom to be a civilian in a peaceful unarmed community (in my humble opinion).
I like the wires in your image because I've seen right past them when taking photos, and then the result is not the tree/sunset/landscape I meant, but wires in foreground. Reality is the power infrastructure right there, ubiquitously humming along. It's a brutal, true-technological aesthetic.
Minneapolis makes me proud as an American, and I don't even live in Minnesota. I like that Minnesota Nice means you're inherently anti-fascist and I'm impressed at how deep it goes and how fiercely you protect the community. I guess living where winter hits hard every year builds grit!
