The courts had to step in and tell Donald Trump to feed the people. Let that sink in.

He was perfectly fine letting millions of Americans go hungry—in the middle of a shutdown that Republicans created.

Do what the judge said, Donald. Release the funds and stop playing with folks’ livelihoods.

Let’s get a few things straight about SNAP.

Today marks 30 days of the Republicans’ shutdown.

Now, 42 million Americans, including 3.5 million Texans, are at risk of losing access to SNAP.

Enough with the games. It’s time for them to show up and do their damn jobs.

Let me be clear: It’s ILLEGAL to deny federal workers back pay after a shutdown.

There’s a 2019 law that guarantees it, but Trump is once again trying to break the law.

You don’t get to punish people for doing their jobs just because you’re failing at yours.

What could possibly justify a deputy pulling a gun on a group of teens in his Beaufort County, South Carolina neighborhood? This alarming use of force could’ve ended in tragedy! The deputy is now suspended, and an investigation is underway.

Republicans can’t win on their policies, so they are trying to dodge accountability by rewriting the rules. These lawmakers are going out of their way to silence the will of the people and deliberately undermine our democracy.
