Why Weโ€™re Still Fighting Over Elginโ€™s Marbles In A.E. Stallingsโ€™s Frieze Frame, the poet retells the many conflicts, political and cultural, the ransacked portion of the Parthenon has inspired.

The Nation calls FRIEZE FRAME by A. E. Stallings "a brilliant riot of characters, personalities, and voices that jostle together across continents and centuries."

What, you may ask, does a forgotten poem by a foreign-born Hollywood extra have to tell us now? All I can say is that Alexander Voloshinโ€™s SIDETRACKED has been a source of comfort for me over the past few yearsโ€”a sympathetic voice reaching across decades. โ€œBeen there,โ€ he nodsโ€ฆ

Wonderful launch event last night for LUMINOUS BODIES, Devon Jersildโ€™s beautiful new novel about Marie Curie. Becky Dayton of the Vermont Book Shop channeled Terry Gross, interviewing Devon at Middlebury, Vermontโ€™s Town Hall Theater, and Becky and Devin were incredibly entertaining.

Sidetracked - Alexander Voloshin A review, and links to other information about and reviews of Sidetracked by Alexander Voloshin.

โ€œThe verse is light and bouncy, preventing the narrative from ever feeling heavyโ€ฆ [Voloshin] insists on always looking on or seeing the bright sideโ€”even as that occasionally requires some contortions.โ€

No need to contort this bright review of SIDETRACKED! www.complete-review.com/reviews/russ...
