At record stores I love searching for CDs I've been wanting to hear + one rando surprise item. One of my (early) latter finds was a hilariously bad Adam Ant tape ๐น๐ต๏ธ๐ฅโ๏ธ The track U.S.S.A. from it has been looping in my mind: ~Synthesizers made us slaves ~ So we smashed them up ~ To decorate our caves~

The last installation The Witches were able to share was later adapted to a video experience meant to be played at maximum volume at home as to be immersed in a different way. Both of these projects pay homage to Earthโs most
ancient inhabitant, a massive quaking aspen found in Utah called Pando.
Sharing photos featuring early interactive installations created by The Witches sound art collective. While primarily celebrating our interconnecteness with trees, we strive to encompass as many aspects of listening including the tactile and deaf experiences with sound within our work.
