CIAC2025 Plenary Session: Asia's Sustainable Infrastructure Opportunity
The Asian Development Bank has estimated developing Asia would need over US$26 trillion in infrastructure investment from 2016-30, or US$1.7 trillion per year. Pressure is increasing for that infrastructure to be sustainable and green. Smart and purposeful contributions from institutional investors as well as technology and service providers are required to deliver results.
This CIAC2025 session explores the areas of infrastructure need and how companies and institutions in Asia and Canada are responding to the sustainable infrastructure opportunities in Asia.
Featuring:
• Anbumozhi Venkatachalam, Director of Research Strategy and Innovations, Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) (Indonesia; Lead Panellist)
• Samantha Hill, Head of Sustainability Integration, CPP Investments (Canada)
• Devin Chan, Deputy Executive Director, Infrastructure Asia (Singapore)
• Suzanne Gaboury, Director General, Private Sector Operations, Asian Development Bank (Philippines)
• Lori Kerr, CEO, FinDev Canada (Canada)
