UK pleeeeeeeease
Oh and between Kirby and Pokopia, Hyrule Warriors was so damn fun. Was not expecting those last two to be my faves.
I feel like each time I get a new Switch 2 game it trumps the previous. DK into MKWorld were great but both peaked early for me, but Kirby DLC had better vibes throughout, and Pokopia is the best game of all time.
Played Final Fantasy VII Remake. Dayum it's good. Somehow 35 hours felt short, but I guess it kinda makes sense given it's part 1. Very shiny on switch 2, basically no filler, satisfying combat. My only gripe is that Barret would not stop singing the victory theme it ruins my immersion.
Mar the 10th be with you yahoo
Ah fuck it really is peak. It's like what if I wanted to experience Minecraft again but with a proper story mode, Animal Crossing again but I care about the characters, and PokΓ©mon again but it actually runs well
I was going to wait it out but they're having stock shortages. For a game key card.
And the reviews and hype, on top of me avoiding the game so I see it with fresh eyes, has given me mad FOMO lol
Buying Pokopia game key card for Β£55 but shaking my head so everyone on Bluesky knows I don't agree with it
Think it was a solid choice to get on Switch 2 as well as when docked it performs super well and I cannot imagine it looking anywhere near as shiny on Steam Deck. It is Absolute Cinema at times, worth paying double.
Also yes I'm v late to this revelation and I will be late to part 2 after waiting 3 months for that to come out, and then however long for the final part.
I recall seeing some impressions that it was a slow game. Maybe if you're aware of how much they've extended the OG game's scenarios which I'm not? That or, buddy, you have the lowest attention span ever go back to playing old RPGs at 4x speed.
20 hours into Final Fantasy 7 Remake and it's kinda all killer no filler?? There aren't tonnes of sidequests and they're all solid. The quieter moments with characters don't feel drawn out (except having three different slow ass puzzles with Aerith and some mechanical hands). Music is banging ofc.
Well, you know, you can't always trust AI
Eugh. Uh. Huh? Agh.
Liked post when I saw GRIS and Flower, saw the rest, finally saw the word hater, still like the post as I respect it lol
Final Fantasy 7 Remake hitting me with the CDI Ganon "Die"

Don't think I've ever seen de Blob in anyone's top list! Incredible soundtrack and vibes.
VNs need to be bundled with bullshit remover mods like when they patch 18+ content in later.
I gotta play Anodyne 2 and keep an eye on Rubato once that releases
They're saying this is the sickest selection of games ever
Happy birthday!!
Highlight of final fantasy so far - box
Played 5 hours of Final Fantasy 7 Remake. The action RPGness is v satisfying as someone who hardly plays RPGs. Also satisfying to see what actually plays out in this game as I only knew about the well known story beats.
YOU CAN BACKFLIP?? This game is swag. Is this the earliest Mario backflip game??
I did wonder if they had dev documentation discouraging it so I can't actually imagine anyone would do it. But it'd be amusing if eg a homebrew game did it. Port Undertale or OneShot to Wii or something
Oh yea I played Donkey Kong 94 briefly after hearing lots of good stuff. It has aura. It's practically a fakeout starting with normal Donkey Kong and being like fuck you we're a fully fledged platformer now. If I do carry on playing I'm looking forward to the late game banger music
Yea fair! For me it's more just an excuse to compile it on bandcamp for easy download. So it's not a nice cohesive thing but it's something haha
