Alongside generating new ideas and collaborations, we were also fortunate to explore some of the surrounding region, including the tea plantation pictured below. Many thanks to my colleague Aswin P Vijayan for doing the vast majority of the organisation.
Last week, I had the pleasure of helping to organise a small international astronomy conference in Kerala, India. We brought together 30 scientists from around the world, including several from Kerala itself, to discuss how best to combine observations with theoretical models of galaxy formation.
