Oh they’re absolutely intolerant of any disrespect. Behind that quietly whirring chuck is an enormous inertia and it’ll eat you up (clothing/hair) in an instant, or fling stuff at you when you’re not being very systematic and careful! Well worth learning 😉.
What always annoyed/amused me with the laser safety glasses (apart from them not working with my normal glasses) is that you can’t see the laser even a little! So for alignment… you peek around the edge of the safety glasses 😓.
Cannot adhere to SOLAS laws (safety of life at sea, amongst others require helping others in need), nor a bunch of other international rules of the sea, so cannot be legal.
