Watercolour sketch showing a woman in red with her hair tied up, a man with sun glasses pushed up on hiis forehead and another woman on the right very quickly sketched in the moment.
Watercolour sketch of some friends sitting around the garden table.
Here's another Laverne Harding scene. One thing she's really great at is animating exaggeration, like here where the polar bear is trying to play a flute to calm the dog until Chilly changes the score and he freaks out as he wakes up.

A classic pose from the SpongeBob Movie. New scanner is so much better! This is from 25 years ago, so my memory is hazy, but this is most likely an early version of the pose, or a shot that was changed completely. #spongebob #patrickstar #realmen #facialhair #cartoon #pencildrawing

Thanks for the info, I’ve always wished there were credits attached to the Cartoonstitute pilots so the public could have a better understanding of who worked on them. Also, I would love to see more BTS from Meddlen if possible.

I remember reading Bob Jaques animation directed Meddlen, how did that work with the Flash team at CN? Thanks for uploading these treasures, the work the in-house studio did on this one was fantastic!
Disney's first and better adaptation of this folk tale is one of their darkest and most brilliant shorts. This loose propaganda piece powerfully succeeds by having a fox trick Chicken Little into believing the sky is falling.

Thinking about Chris today. This Meddlin Meadows scene was animated by Nick Bertonazzi Jr. for the Cartoonstitute. #chrisreccardi #meddlinmeadows #flashanimation #cartoonguts
Thanks! Loved all the work done by you and your team, very fun designs to draw too haha
Buttons from Buttons’ Gamezone, check it out on WB TV’s YouTube Channel!
I absolutely loved @fernandopuig.bsky.social’s Buttons’ Gamezone so I drew some rough fanart, happy to see it so long after it was first announced!

Jane Baer has died at 91. A titan, she worked on 'Sleeping Beauty,' co-founded Baer Animation, supervised 'Roger Rabbit,' and advocated for her fellow artists. Few careers trace the evolution of late-20th-century American animation as completely.

This is a decent short with a plot that shares similarities with Friz Freleng's "Pigs is Pigs" from nearly a decade ago. The jazzy rendition of "The Devil In The White Nightgown" is the highlight and will stick in your head long after listening to it.
