And not a criticism of the requirement for alt text. That’s a good thing. I just think there must be a better GUI element to how it’s laid out. IG is the worst for it as they don’t promote alt text but now have large floating bubbles over the images for reposts that are utterly pointless

There’s got to be a better way for apps do it than overlaying stuff onto a posted image. Bluesky and IG both do it and it covers text in a way that I have to accommodate (and sometimes forget to)
