This is my 3rd favourite game of all time, it's fantastic in every conceivable way and I'd be hard pressed to find something I don't like about it because it's just that good. Alan Wake has inspired so much of me, how I write and dress (for better or worse).

I loved this game! The best of 7 and the best of 4R mashed together to make something that tops nearly everything thats come before, has minor issues but I genuinely felt sad when it was over because I wanted to play it more!. Now I'll replay it.

Would you believe this is my first time going back since launch? It’s been a while, it’s a phenomenal remake of a phenomenal game and to be honest whichever of the two you prefer is pretty much preference, looking forward to Leon’s final mission

Yknow I was never big into the Survivor trilogy, but this held up decently. I think its story is fairly barebones and it gets very stale in the third act but these are things that improve in Rise, which I will play next. also QTE final boss lmao.

It's a half life 2 mod but I'm counting as it's own game because it is one, I love Wilson, the new animations and crunchy combat, Bad Cop is fun and at it's best it feels like it's official valve material. Sitting alongside Portal Revolution for me.

It's wild how a game this good can be so... simple? A player, an interesting world and some cool physics. I think the ending is a bit of a slog admittedly but its a really minor nitpick in an otherwise extraordinary game, now... how about that third one?
