A bowl of a beef stew, featuring mushrooms, carrots, celery, onions, potatoes, and of course… BEEF.
Made a PHENOMENAL beef stew tonight. First time trying the recipe and my god… so tender. Ash just about lost his puppy mind when I gave him a piece of the beef.

Apparently not if you use Intel or Nvidia, which is the lion’s share of the market for PC gaming, at least for right now. Will be interesting to see if they finagle support for it in a meaningful way.
It’d definitely be a game changer.
I’d be interested to know how they plan to support it. If someone has trouble getting it working on a PC, a typical user will have no idea how to get help with it in a reasonable fashion.
Thinking about the Quintet Trilogy
Finding the small things I can actually control and doing so really has a marked effect on my outlook. I understand now why the English made tea drinking part of their culture.
It’s been my daily ritual for a while now! Enjoy some peace with a book and tea for even a few minutes and the entire day looks a bit more manageable. 😊
Some folks are under the delusion Valve will ever make a generally available SteamOS. As much as I’d love it to be true, Steam has 0 support in general so making a generally available OS would need some level of support for the general public with the varied configs.
Cool to see it branch out tho.
Nothing like a good cuppa to take the edge off.
It is 4:30 am. My brave livestock guardian dog’s instinct to patrol the back yard for ~10 minutes just before sunrise is in full effect. I am sleepy, but I also love how regimented my pup is. I hate being woken up but damn, he’s so adorable.
Also still struggling to understand this site. It will never be attached to by the mainstream if LITERAL NAKED PENISES keep getting blasted on my feed unhidden by NSFW tags. What the fuck.
I’m sort of sad that my most popular thing on this platform so far is me talking about Ronnie Reagan. 😭 I usually just talk about video games and tech mmkay?
Time Crisis! If I had more room in my house, I’d absolutely have one of those cabs.
This is my best buddy Ash. He’s been my friend since we got him as a pup with all sorts of medical issues. Now he’s happy, unreasonably healthy, and obnoxious as hell. Love my boy.

I *think* I’ve got enough filament to last me a few weeks. 😂
Reagan would be looking super excited because most of these problems started with his dumbass.
1/2*. Looks like a lack of edit feature sucks just as bad as on Twitter back in the day. 😁
I still see games requiring kernel-level anti cheat, which still locks it to only Windows.
Curious as to everyone here’s thoughts. I, too, want to jump from Windows but using Bazzite for like 8 months showed me it might never been a painless experience. Win just works, even if not well on occasion.
It’s been interesting by seeing the arguments and debates around SteamOS vs. using a distro like Bazzite and how any of these distros are a suitable Windows replacement. I find this not to be the case, as both still don’t 100% support every launcher, and I argue w/o that Win will stick around. 1/1
This is my second-gen Kindle I got from Goodwill for like $10. Its battery was shot, so I ordered a replacement and got it working. Too bad I can’t register it to my Kindle account since it is on someone else’s account still, but I can still direct load books using Calibre.
Infinity Nikki is a very good game, especially for the $0 entry fee.
Managed to revive an old second gen Kindle since I have no idea where I put my Paperwhite. Since I got it from Goodwill, I can’t add it to my Amazon account so I have to directly load books via Calibre.
Sometimes ADHD is the worst.
A lot of folks in the gaming sphere are biased as hell. There’s this weird tribalism, evident in the still-existent “console wars” people. It’s unfortunate but I feel like it’s a fair bit less pronounced than it was, say, 10 years ago?
Good observation!
A Mario question mark block that works as a coin bank. It has magnets in the lid and was mostly hand painted.
Got my Mario block coin bank up and running. It’s mostly done, though I want to paint the dots. Happy with the result!

My only gripe is that gaming still isn’t 100%. I used Bazzite for a bit and it’s good for most things (almost anything Steam), but that last 10 or so percent is just out of reach. It’s also inherently difficult (need to use Lutris or Hero to manually fiddle with some games). 😞
Barely been on Bluesky and one of my first DM interactions is a real person trying to sell me stuff. 😮💨 I really don’t like limiting my DMs but I might have to if that sort of thing happens again.
Opened my Play date about a week ago. What a neat little console. I’d not label it as revolutionary or even necessarily great; but it is a fun oddity with some interesting gimmicks, and if you collect handheld consoles like I do it’s definitely worth putting in the collection!

The derpy little fox I printed and painted using acrylics. One of my first hand painting projects and I think it turned out adorable. His names Floppy because, well… he floppy.
