Here I am today (October 7th) in Portland's Pioneer Square, at the waterfront and at the ICE building. Note no fires, no "hellscape", no angry mob. Is Portland perfect? Of course not - but what is being shown and said is just not accurate. We have no need for the National Guard.
Update: "A federal judge in Oregon, nominated by Donald Trump, minutes ago issued a temporary restraining order blocking the Trump administration from deploying 200 National Guard troops to Portland."
