Yea I'm thinking of lacunae for a few reasons. The imaging finding of "infarct" vs the clinical entity of "stroke." Not every lacune signifies a remote infarct (could be from microhemorrhage or WMH). And that one rad's lacune is another's PVS. And you raise a good point re secondary prevention
Were unreported lacunae considered βstrokesβ in this study?
If a patient presents with an orthostatic headache after a recent lumbar puncture, MRI of the total spine is usually not warranted!!!
