I grew up in this area, NW Ohio. There is a reason why the tornado siren drills start back up in March.
And this just reminds me to only look at 3-5 day forecasts.

I laid down. I think all 3 are telling me something.
I understand that but the documentary was done back in 2006. Many of those kids are now adults. They were not just taught to fight with weapons they were taught to hide what they were doing. In the South the want for the rapture is real. Be careful discounting their numbers and control.
Thing is that after watching the documentary Jesus Camp it is not to far fetched true or not. Young kids are being trained for this very scenario. They are being preached at to be warriors for Jesus and join the military.
The 2006 documentary Jesus Camp is worth a watch if you have not seen it. Will explain a lot.
Adding that it came out in 2006 so the kids then could very well be in the military now.

I had stopped watching figure skating due to the emphasis on the jumps. I did not watch her short program but found it online today. Her program breathed a breath of fresh air back into the sport for me. So fluid and expressive. Absolute joy to watch. Did not even need the jumps for me.

Same for me. Mine used to have one of us drive to a convenience store where he went in and picked up his cigarettes and a bag full of candy. Then we went off in the Dodge Omni and whoever was driving was told to get on the highway.

There is a part of me that understands why there are closed primaries. But I am more and more understanding that is why we are in the mess we are in. My husband and daughters are registered Independents.They have to rely on me and other registered Democrats to choose correctly.
As my state has a closed primary system it is really the only reason I have not changed to independent.
