Again, Non-natives are not entitled to our stories, cultures, histories, stories, imagery & identities, not even in the name of artistic freedom.
We're not saying that non-natives cannot write native characters or use native themes.

We're not saying that non-natives cannot write native characters or use native themes.
So it's extremely problematic that non-natives refuse to acknowledge this & refuse to respect boundaries in their writing, films, art, etc because most folks do not have enough interaction with us, proximity or even the education to know any different than what they are exposed to in the media.
When we say that non-native writers, filmmakers, artists are NOT entitled to our history, identities, culture, stories & imagery we mean just that...they are NOT entitled to it and they are not above criticism or accountability.
Claimed and going to a new home soon ๐

Non Natives continue to weaponize Native poverty as confirmation bias for autarky.
(The victim blaming that poverty existing is proof that it is deserved).
And this is why all performative virtue signaling of solidarity will always come at an impasse when Natives enter the picture.
