There were a ton of stories about airplane incidents in early 2025, which elicited a sense of doom. I revisited NTSB data to see what actually happened, while allowing time for reporting to catch up.
My conclusion: the number of airline incidents is so far no greater in 2025 than previous years.
A refrigerator full of pediatric vaccines, which have tamed unspeakable terrors that are a few bad choices away from re-emerging.
As I watched many of you live post the insanity of ACIP, I was at the pediatrician’s office getting a 2nd HPV vax for my youngest, knowing it might be a target at future meetings.
This fridge was in the exam room, and I described to my daughter the horrors it keeps at bay.
