Tufts PhD student on visa arrested by immigration authorities, school says Rumeysa Ozturk is a Turkish national, according to her lawyer, Mahsa Khanbabai.

This arrest is the latest in an alarming pattern to stifle civil liberties.

The Trump admin is targeting students with legal status and ripping people out of their communities without due process.

This is an attack on our Constitution and basic freedoms — and we will push back.

Rumeysa Ozturk was kidnapped in plain sight & sent to Louisiana to be locked in the same detention center Mahmoud Khalil was sent to.

She's a peaceful protestor, grad student, & my constituent who has a right to free speech & due process.

Now she's a political prisoner. Free her now.

Adena points date to the Early Woodland (c. 2,500BP) and are very rare finds in New England. There are no Adena sites in the region, instead these are probably coming through trade networks from the moundbuilding cultures of Ohio and Kentucky (Boudreau 2016). 🧪🏺🐡

Illustration of a computational workflow for cultural evolution that connects abstract theory to real-world data. The arrows indicate logical and computational dependencies among theoretical, statistical, and scientific elements of a project. For example, an effective inferential model depends upon generative models, a question about those models (estimand), and the structure of the available evidence (sample).
