We have just released another 100,000 prison register entries! This means that there are now more than one million entries in Scotland's Criminal Database.

On March 10, 1913, abolitionist Harriet Tubman died at approximately 91 years old. Her birth year is believed to be around 1822, though the exact year is uncertain due to the lack of official records for enslaved people at the time.

Charlotte Perkins Gilman

Charlotte Perkins Gilman

On this day in 1909, NYC women marched in what was reportedly the first Women’s Day celebration in the US. Charlotte Perkins Gilman said: β€œa woman’s duty is centered in her home & motherhood…[but] home should mean the whole country & not be confined to 3 or 4 rooms or a city or a state.” #WeTheMen
