2026 is shaping up to be a big year. Just added a fourth academic conference presentation to the list. πŸŽ‰

The β€˜Board of Peace’ started World War 3 so fast.

Picture of Marjane Satrapi alongside a quote from her. The quote reads:

The world is not divided into countries. The world is not divided between East and West. You are American, I am Iranian, we don't know each other, but we talk together and we understand each other perfectly. The difference between you and your government is much bigger than the difference between you and me. And the difference between me and my government is much bigger than the difference between me and you.

And our governments are very much the same...

Thinking about this quote from Persepolis creator Marjane Satrapi again.

None of us in the world are free under the American empire except a teeny tiny bit of white men who are sucking blood from everybody else according to tiers. If that clicks for you it affects how you move.

This reads like a Supreme Court justice calmly explaining to an impulsive toddler why rules exist.

That kind of removal causes harm. It gets framed as fairness, but it actually narrows who gets to study, teach, shape knowledge, and be seen or heard as legitimate. Universities should be protecting those pathways, not quietly dismantling them to appease the Trump administration.

Ending participation in the PhD Project is not a neutral choice. It removes real support systems that helped people who have long been shut out of academia find their way.

The media is rarely unbiased. Especially ones with institutional power. Doesn’t matter if it’s Germany or the US.

This is not insurgency or a Democratic Tea Party. It is accountability. Framing candidates who listen to their constituents as a problem is dominion logic protecting a hierarchy that is losing legitimacy. This is representation without permission. And that’s a problem for the Democratic elite.

If ice wasn’t terrorizing their communities they would not have to wear masks. Their police do not have to wear mask. If ice treated people respectfully and lawfully they would not have to hide their faces.

Screenshot of a social media post by Congressman Tom Massie. In the post, he states that he is not suicidal, not depressed, and does not intend to harm himself. He adds that if he were to die, it would not be from suicide, a drug overdose, or a single-vehicle car accident. The message appears to be a preemptive statement about his personal safety.

This is what institutional trust collapse looks like in real time.

Project Reconstitution | A Care-Centered Civic Counterpoint to Project 2025 A civic framework by Melissa Cosgrove reimagining the American Constitution around care, relation, and responsibility. Explore a vision for democratic repair grounded in integrity and interdependence.

This is what pushed me to write Project Reconstitution. Not the dramatic moments, but the quiet failure where everything keeps working while the assumptions underneath collapse. A system built on good faith has no answer when bad faith becomes normalized. πŸ˜”

It makes total sense. It’s wild how often speed gets framed as progress when it actually just removes grace. And convenience for some becomes instant punishment for others.

From the Washington Post to the Epstein Files How extreme wealth reshapes accountability

The DOJ is editing the #Epstein files in real time while telling us there's not enough to prosecute. Bezos is gutting the #WaPo newsroom while we argue about his motives.

No one's connecting these. I did. Check it out! πŸ‘‡

We founded our democracy on ownership and called it freedom. We glorified billionaires as its highest expression. Now one billionaire can gut a pillar of democracy, journalism, and it’s treated as his right. That’s dominion logic at work.

Markets didn’t force this. A billionaire chose it.
