I see now that if I click on the post I quoted, I get taken to that post, which itself quotes another post. So I can dig down one at a time. But my post only directly quotes the top level. Is it possible to quote a post that quotes a post and have both quotes show? Is it a mobile vs desktop thing?

I assumed he was being at least somewhat ironic, and in that light it was a pretty funny joke. The idea of someone having such a poor knee jerk reaction in earnest. Even if in this case he was 100% serious, if you're overly trigger-happy with blocks you're bound to catch a few bystanders eventually.
