I'm almost done with my third novel... (all need edits and review)

partway done on another novel and had a crazy good idea for another that I had to outline yesterday before I forgot it.

1 year ago... I had the idea for a fantasy ensemble trilogy..
It sparked it all.

Good to know I just finished my first book... and drafted 2 more... and now I don't know what I will do with them... go out like Emily Dickenson... and just leave a hard rive in the attic with instructions to burn them...

that mortality one is key... literally saved my wife's life twice, during 2 of 3 pregnancies, because the doctors (one of whom was black) would have let her bleed out... said everything was fine... systemic racism at its best... and I'm white so... lot to unpack

I hear you. I just think being a good writer is partly knowing what you should write about. Writing about things you don't know is a red flag to me regarding authenticity and voice. Then again I write fantasy so I'm making up a lot of stuff in my world. 🤣

If you don't know basic animal stuff... maybe don't write... and definitely don't write about animals... my guess is anyone who made this mistake should not write.

I have finished two books and am working on my third now. It is almost complete.

I need 100 people willing to read and review my 1st book. (not published yet)

or I need an agent that wants to help me on this journey.

I wrote until my right 👁️ closed. The eyelid too heavy to lift anymore.

I kept writing because my left eye was still half open. Lighter somehow than the other side but gradually losing the battle with gravity.

That's how you write when discipline and passion combine like Voltron.
