Interesting question. Interesting to see the results.

It’s not clear to me how the US can be trusted in the long term ever again. Even with Trump gone, the Republican Party as a whole seems totally ok with an authoritarian government ruling for the wealthy. How are you going to change that?

Would the democrats be willing to challenge the results if all swing states voted Republican again? And there is just so much that needs reform now that I’m not sure the people can get it done. Some things are too ingrained in the culture.

This is my biggest worry. The 36% (thereabouts) of people who seem to go along with all this. And the fear that the system plays into their hands. I hear talk of a “massive” turnout being necessary, but, with the electoral college, he only has to manipulate a few states - not the whole country.

It's all relative. I thought 79 was old when I was 50 and my dad passed away at 79. "Well, he lived a good long life" we all said.
Now I'm 79 and I realize I don't feel old at all. If you are blessed to be healthy you are lucky. I hope I have a few more years. I still have dreams.
