I wish I had a better understanding of the forces that go into creating trade cultures in each TCG because I feel like it's a really fascinating topic but the only one I have a confident answer for is every yugioh player has a binder bc prizing is just packs so everyone has shiny stuff lying around

It's so bizarre because every TCG has their own quirks of distribution, right? Mtg players only ever buy singles, every yugioh player has a trade binder, but in vanguard you either buy a whole ass deck off someone, sleeves and all or singles from the guy charging 150% tcgplayer outside of the venue

The weirdest part of being more aware of the Vanguard community after years in other games is seeing how reliant card distribution is on backpack vendors. Every other TCG theyre the scum of the earth but like nobody else carries singles bc of how unprofitable it is so who else are you gonna turn too
