if Indonesia's TKDN is just mostly locally assembling imported components, then building your own computer is 100% TKDN
No it's fine I just didn't expect Don-chan to be Chinese

The tiny donch
DONCH DAY
he is singlehandedly responsible for the rising memory and semiconductor prices
There are days where I yearn for this... and it's finally here!!! Timezone Indonesia is carrying 4th gen Taiko no Tatsujin cabs!!
I also hope this extends to Nintendo at large to get more people to try out the mainline games with official Switch 2 sales & localization
They already set up a Thai subsidiary for localization purposes, maybe Indonesia could be next since both TH and ID have low EN proficiency
I do hope with the release of Winds and Waves means that TPC is showing more commitment in Southeast Asia at large
A Pokemon Center in Jakarta, Manila, Bangkok or Kuala Lumpur next would be super cool to have lol
You know that Pokemon captured the Southeast Asian vibes of the new region so well that Southeast Asians start fighting amongst themselves claiming that it's specific to their own country
It's wild that we're getting a Southeast Asian region mainline Pokemon game without any Southeast Asian language localization in mind, particularly Indonesian and Thai
I hope I could be wrong though
southeast asia mentioned
Wait it's 15K for Welcome Card and Blue Elite card holders... that is so dumb
Why is Timezone Indonesia setting Taiko cabs at one credit for only two songs... at 14 Tizo/14K rupiah credits?
I think at this point my interest in Bemani may fully return if CPCM actually opens up a chain here, complete with IIDX LM and SDVX Valkyrie cabs
Pop'n and Taiko would be great too, but I'm not expecting much when Maimai has all the attention in Indo rhythm games than Bemani rn
When you wanna derust more in Sound Voltex but at the same time the state of Bemani in your city is held together by an online Nemesys cab still running Exceed Gear, AND with Megaindo (the Indonesian Konami distributor) ghosting the local arcades here
I am hearing info that Timezones in the Greater Jakarta area are getting Taiko Nijiiro? Please let this mean that more Timezones are getting one so we don't have to deal with Funworld's dumb poor maintained cabs aaaa
Time to go back to the arcades to update my DDR and SDVX savefiles to the newest versions lol
New card who dis
They got Saizeriya in Tomodachi Life, heck yeah cheap $3 pizza date
I noticed that looking around e-commerce sites in Shopee in Southeast Asian countries show that the Switch 2 sold more than 2,800 units in places like Thailand and around more than a 1,000 in Singapore
Even "semi-supported" countries like Indonesia, the Switch 2 has sold more than 3,000 units
if super mario 64 is so good why don't they make super mario 67
I wonder if anyone has an image or documentation of the first NES Service Centres in Singapore and Jakarta...
I say hard launch, because technically the Switch 2 has been soft launched in Indonesia via the general Southeast Asian release on June 26th this year, since we're still getting consoles via Maxsoft.
Honestly with all these talks and rumors about Gen 10 Pokemon being situated in Southeast Asia and almost all of Indonesia, it would be a HUGE missed opportunity to not hard launch the Switch 2 officially in Indonesia and open a new distributor/Nintendo subsidiary here lmao
Also yes, Southeast Asian/Middle East Wii U consoles are real
Information on it is surprisingly scarce despite Southeast Asian/Middle East Wii U games do exist out there in the wild and have been sold over the years
I love how most Southeast Asian Nintendo consoles (ASI/MDE/SEA) just have a big fat blob on the model number sticker on the bottom. It's like, don't you need a regulatory label from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, etc for you to sell here?
Southeast Asian Nintendo 64 AC adapter (NUS-002(ASI)). The Singapore Safety Mark logo is located on the right side.
The Southeast Asian Wii AC adapter (RVL-002(ASI)). The Singapore Safety Mark label is located in the middle of the sticker.
The Southeast Asian AC adapter for the Game Boy Advance SP and the DS (AGS-002(ASI)). The Singapore Safety Mark logo is located on the right side of the sticker.
The European 60W USB-C AC adapter for the Nintendo Switch 2 (NGN-01(EU)). The Singapore Safety Mark logo is located on the bottom right of the printed label.
Random neat thing I noticed is that all Nintendo consoles that were sold in Southeast Asia all have a Singapore Safety Mark regulatory sticker on its AC adapters.
(Top left, Nintendo 64 - top right, Wii - bottom left, original DS/GBA SP - bottom right, Switch 2)
Didn't realize the Aula F108 Pro here costs $40 less here, so I might as well pull the trigger to upgrade away from my old, dying 7-year-old Corsair Strafe RGB
It's a thocky one, as MK enthusiasts say, the knob is super sensitive and moves faster than I liked it to be
So it turns out Korean Nintendo Switch consoles follow Japanese Wi-Fi regulations, where you can only connect to 5GHz access points set on bands of 5150-5350MHz (channel 36-64). Even though in South Korea, Wi-Fi channels beyond 64 (149-165) are legal for indoor use.
