Oh, I love this little poem in @Rattle today by @Philip Metres. At times I resemble it. At times I resent it. Either way, it’s worth reading again (and reading the poet’s comment at the end).

My whole life here in rural Ohio is being w folks I “disagree with.” We care about and for each other but there’s no “changing minds” here (except about who’s the best baker ‘cause that’s me 😂)
