Art sketchs of a wide variety of colorful dragon / avian / dino bird things (phantoms), each kind of with boob, as an experiment. I made these by scribbling a vague silouette with a goldfaber aqua marker, and making lines out of the shape with a faber castell pitt artist pen. Fun excercise!
The experiments continued, with a bit handed big legged and generally bulky phantom of maroon color that I liked a lot. They're now my pfp.
A bunch of random phantom variety sketches, with a bit of experimentation with chest anatomy. I started pretty stiff with the green one (who bothers me lol), but slowly loosened up and got some sketches i like. Especially the big maroon, azure, and the pink ones.

A painted scene of a phantom and votra fucking (they're both heavily anthropomorphic bird furry dinosaur looking things. They're kind of their own thing). That's about it. There's a sunny sky behijd them, and they're ok some cushy brown blanket. The phantom's cloak is under them, and one arm actually still remains in a sleeve.
A painting for a skill benchmark of sorts! I wanted some odd poses and anatomy, and I think that honestly the next one should be abt skies and cloth. The anatomy felt like the easiest part tbh, which makes sense, as someone with a habit of drawing JUST characters (a habit ive been working to break)
The whole point of the piece is to be pretty challenging pose + anatomy + rendering wise, so if all goes well it's going to look kind of nuts. It's been a while since I've really challenged myself in a full project, so I'm not sure what I'm capable of lmao. All I must do now is render....

It's a simple doodled scene of a happy crowd of various faces and species. In the background is a bird thing (Indiana) sitting downcast drawing in the dirt with a stick. I've always yearned for some form of large community, it's really why I try with social media, but I feel I'm yet to really click with anything yet. I don't call myself a furry because I don't feel I really visually or culturally fit with that. I don't really draw humanoids either, so I feel alien to folks that would default for those. I simply feel like I'm on a lil island far off shore of those fandoms. I don't want to change what I feel so close to in order to come closer, because if it isn't obvious I've been working with my goobers so long they've really become part of who I am and their simulation of a world is a way I explore ours. Do not take this as a sign of me stopping. I've had these thoughts forever now, but have been thinking extra deeply about my social connections as I've been afk. I made the decision yesterday to try a larger social platform, to bring my gospel to the goblins /lh. That other platform is secondary to this, dw. I like posting on socials, seeing that anybody sees my work. Who doesn't like that feeling? Too many people shame others for wanting simple human recognition of their work. I want someone to view something I made and be a sliver as intrigued by it as I was when I made it. If they share that intrigue, wow. Intrigue is a good feeling. I want to share it.
