I wish I could just instruct humans with "For your memory:..." the way I tell ChatGPT to remember to do or not do certain things going forward.

I can only assume they're just oblivious. My dog has great recall and he's very well socialized, but I obey leash laws. If a loose dog runs up to him, he won't start something, but he'll absolutely finish it if necessary. I worry about the repercussions of other people's stupidity on me and my dog.

I wonder this frequently.

Several years ago, a coworker randomly gave me this little wooden puzzle because she thought of Ronon & me when she saw it. We have both changed jobs and lost touch since then, but I still truly cherish this gift. Wherever you are Liz, thank you. 💜

Not much happening at Covenant House today. Sometimes, Ronon is mobbed for loving. Sometimes, he gets quality time with one person. Today, he's just getting drive-by pets as people come and go. One of our favorite residents just left for a job interview, though, so that's exciting! ❤️

But HOW? Inquiring minds want to know.

Sometimes I expect too much of Ronon without giving him enough of what he needs, so yesterday I drove to a Sniffspot in suburban NJ and let him run.

Riding in the car all day must be really hard work. Ronon is exhausted. LOL. We're at our favorite hotel, halfway through our 1,007-mile trip for the holidays. There were THREE accidents on I-81 today. Stay safe, people!
