jeaokei, siis jah
oot, kas sulle ei meeldinud, et kaljurand hääletas loophole'i pikendamise vastu või see on (arusaadav) mikseri dissimine lihtsalt hetkel või---
An image highlighting the extreme root development of a ZZ plant. The plant is held aloft, revealing a dense, cylindrical "root cake" where the thick, tuberous roots have circled the container multiple times. Dark, crumbly soil is trapped between the light-colored roots. The contrast between the vibrant green stems and the pale, crowded roots illustrates a plant that is ready for a larger container.

Photo of a yellow-green crustose lichen growing flat on reddish rock. The lichen is sort of rectangular and is made up of numerous tiny “islands” of yellow-green with black lines separating the islands. In the top left you can see a tiny bit of similar looking, but grey, lichen.
Rhizocarpon sp #lichen in the process of “taking over” another species of crustose lichen. This Rhizocarpon is the yellow-green colour. The species it is taking over is grey…see top, left of pic. A lichenologist recently explained that several species of Rhizocarpon do this.

morning glory and clematis tangutica seeds officially in nursery pots. rosemary seeds are at the spa, the first physalis sprout is judging me, and i've successfully negotiated the veranda crew back inside for the night.
the first hyacinth is poking its nose out in the yard. brave but questionable.
i bet this shit sounds magical if you're fucking stupid
Jim Cramer suggests on CNBC that Trump could “bomb Tehran into the Stone Age” until Iran reopens the strait, citing U.S. bombings of North Vietnam in the 1970s. Carl Quintanilla points out to him that Hanoi won that war.
Hell of a leap to suggest "I'd like there to be a hedgehog on a fiver" means "I hate Churchill".
(entirely possible that both sets of my grandparents were just weird like that tho)
it was also traditional to greet the sauna if you're the first one entering, and to thank the sauna when you leave (at least in the south, not sure about northern estonia)
You know. If we hadn’t cut off all those arms transfers to Ukraine it would have been so much more difficult for us to repeatedly shoot ourselves in the dick.
just used it this morning 🫡
sorry, i have no idea. @ohpuu.bsky.social do you maybe happen to know a bit more?
"jumal" (god) is usually considered to be a finno-volgaic word stem, but according to the etymology dictionary, some have considered it to also come from proto-indo-iranian "*diyumna"
"aita" itself is is an imperative form of "aitama" which comes from "avitama" - which, in turn, comes from "abi" (help, assistance) which is currently thought to be originating from proto-indo-iranian "*avas-".
"aitäh" shares the etymology with "aitüma" which is a form of "aita jumal" (god, help). "aitäh" is basically an even further shortened variant evolved from the same phrase, where the stress shifted to the second syllable and a final "h" developed: aita > aitah > aitäh.

umm actually, neutrality means you're choosing the side of the milk hotel
Putting Cormac McCarthy's writing up against LLM prose in a popularity contest is rigging the contest in favor of the LLM because avant-garde prose is almost definitionally not populist or even specifically antipopulist and alienating, lmao.
