I feel seen.
…in that I feel unseen…
I feel seen.
…in that I feel unseen…
I’m still picking pieces of our pine tree out of our maple tree.
They extended the High Wind Warning, so I’m cozy, listening to pirate radio (Radio Band-Aid, I think) and continuing my re-read of Leviathan Wakes.
Dad’s power is back. Only off for three hours or so.
And the pork and beans were a hit.
We are done with Target. It has been a long time since I set foot in one.
At least he had a warm meal first.
So, the weather in Michigan is awful. Ann Arbor just had 71 mph gust. Not a storm just a breezy false spring day, with rain and graupel.
Called Dad to see if he was OK. Woke him up which prompted him to eat the lunch that Marc left for him.
Then the power went out. He did get the generator on.
No, shit. I have shipments bouncing around between post offices in a non-sensical manner.
Happy birthday! Enjoy that cheesecake!
That canine needs kisses.
Trying to switch to fancy PreP and the Walgreen’s Specialty Pharmacy has me on my last nerve. Incompetence at every turn and I am being bombarded by useless automated messages.
*screams in frustration*
Do you have any news website recommendations? I’m running out of places…
I don’t know yoga, but I know what I like.
I am keen to try that.
More extreme weather tonight, so tuned my handheld to the weather radio band. Stumbled upon the Canadian Weather Radio out of Windsor/Essex. Actually, the final days of Canadian Weather Radio. It is being shut off later this month.
People is remote areas are gonna regret this.
I’m sorry. The loss of a pet is awful.

Also, straits are canonically bi.
I’m diabetic but apparently not diabetic enough so they keep putting the kibosh oh the GLP1 meds.
Grilled cheese and tomato bisque sounds wonderfully cozy.
Boo, hiss. We just got back from seeing my Dad. And we were so beat that dinner was stuff we got at the new Sheetz just around the corner from my house. (Bonus: their gas was only $2.90/gal.)
*cue violin music*
I miss Live Journal. I resent the pressure to be pithy.
Oh, man. Oh, man. Oh, man. My favorite film gets the restoration it so richly deserves!
BTW, thank you for posting this! It caught me while I was spiraling due to, um, the state of world. It snapped me out of it.
Reading is helping. Working my way through Discworld, on Moving Pictures. And I’ve started a re-read of the Expanse nonology. I was left depleted and sad after the first read. And a couple other things.
Ordered!
Ooof. I don’t seem to be able to get joy out of anything today.
Nancy 3/4/26 💅
Also, fiber. Sooooo much fiber. Also, also, fibre.
Want.
I just sorta squandered two days off. So, I better do it again next week.
