2yo: [brightly] Oh! What’s that Daddy eating?!
Me: [with equal brightness] It’s a grapefruit, darling. Would you like to try some?
2yo: [shaking with appalled rage] NOOOOO! Don’t want that!!!
Toddlers, man.

Balint to Noem: "You're the secretary of DHS -- for now. And you think you're immune from accountability. But I promise you this: one day he is not gonna be president anymore. And when that day comes, we will still be here. And in hearings like this, we are going to continue to prove your guilt."

ed davey: and the threat of reform.... anyway this is why I am joining PM polanski in coalition...any questions? (All journalist raise hands) Any questions not about my gigantic new boobs? (all journalists lower their hands)
A relentlessly, profoundly odd politician
Was just checking the comments to make sure this had been posted. Genuinely my go to video if I’m feeling a little low. Glorious.
Blonde on Blonde isn't afraid of a long title.
"One of us must know (sooner or later)"
"Stuck inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again"
"Most Likely You Go Your Way and I Go Mine"
Probably why it ended up as a double album
I assume the video cuts just before the thunderous round of applause and the delegates holding you aloft on shoulders.
This is the way
Haha, maybe I haven’t been recently enough 😂
Riga is an underrated gem. Great restaurants, great bars, quite Berlin vibes but not as gentrified
Devastated to immediately recognise that this is my local.
Burnham openly gunned for Keir Starmer’s job just a few months ago. He barely even tried to offer a plausible narrative for wanting to return to Westminster except to be better positioned to mount a challenge.
Some of the indignation here feels OTT, whatever you think of Starmer.
Absolutely unhinged poster
Tbf to the UK electorate we are seeing some early signs of people pretty rapidly adapting to our new reality and strategically voting wisely to keep Reform out. (Also saw this in Welsh election for instance.) This, combined with the sense that Reform really do seem to have plateaued, gives me hope.
“Despite the disaster of 1066” is an incredibly funny thing to write
No patch on Mr Brain’s Pork Faggots: “YOU asked for it”
Outstanding. OUTSTANDING.
Incredible
We have an ageing population, struggling public services, and climate change. People might want low taxes, no migrants and cheaper energy, but they also don't want to lie in a hospital corridor for hours or have their house flooded. You can win elections with magic thinking but can't govern with it.
Microsoft's own documentation says that Copilot is great, except for those rare circumstances where you're using your spreadsheet to do something with numbers, look up data, do finances, or need it to consistently return the same result.
Other than those outliers, you're grand.
You have to go through Congress for anything resembling this type of war. Round up Massie and Paul types and have him removed. The people in this administration are on actual drugs and have insatiable bloodlust and bespoke mental illnesses. He has to go, and everybody with him.
One too many adjectives
I live a couple of roads away from Elis James and Isy Sutie. I’ve never spoken to them.
I assume the reveal is it’s Joseph, Mary and God
He’s gone by Feb
The English cricket team spent this morning visiting the Adelaide Children's Hospital.
"It's heartbreaking to see their sad little faces with absolutely no hope" said Timmy aged 7 #Ashes #AusVsEng
I was in a meeting the other day when someone said that “AI would be the connective tissue of our glocal model” and so of course I had no choice but to kill them.
I heard you were a total dick
To all the needy, poor and sick
At Christmas time - that’s why they call you Scrooge, yeah?
So now three sprites will come today
To fuck you up and change your ways
The ghosts or Christmas past, present and future.

Rob Reiner: I'm going to make a coming of age drama, a fantasy adventure story, a romantic comedy, a psychological horror and then a courtroom drama.
Us: Across your entire career?
Reiner: In a 6 year period.
Us: That sounds-
Reiner: -Each one will be arguably the best movie in that genre.
