Just completed the Ethan Winters saga of Resident Evil. Both great games. RE7 was truly spooky af, and Village became my second favorite RE game behind 4. Now on to RE5 and 6, which I’ll expect to be more action-oriented and feature plenty of 2010 game design nonsense.

I kinda fuck with Marathon’s aesthetic. The visuals, the art, and the music.

Side note: Does Sony not like money?!

Welp, looks like I won’t be playing Wolverine anytime in the future. I’m not gonna spend a few hundred dollars to buy a console just for some exclusives. I had a PS5 for a few years and after I played Spider-Man 2, I haven’t turned it on for a year. So I sold it and haven’t regretted it.

Well there goes the redemption arc.

Just finished up these two games this past weekend:

One that has manmade horrors with character models that you stare at with disgust, and the other is Resident Evil.

It’s never been more than over.

Phil Spencer brought in some good stuff to Xbox, like backwards compatibility and Game Pass, but the last few years he lost all that goodwill with the numerous bad decisions he made. With that new CEO who has no gaming experience and worked on AI, doesn’t inspire any confidence to Xbox.

I always thought Sarah Bond would be the next successor to Phil. Just giving her the boot like that is crazy.

Game Pass was one of the few good things to come out from his tenure. Other than that, there were several fumbles as well. What a shame.

Closing down the studio that created some great remakes and remasters is a bone head move.

Man, I forgot High on Life 2 is out today.

It’s about damn time!

Congrats to the devs, but when I saw the game has a +200 hour campaign, I was like, “HELLLLLLLL NAH!”

It’s a damn shame this happened, but this was expected. I kinda hoped this would have its redemption arc, but there were lots of things that kinda set up its imminent failure before its release. Hope those folks get back on their feet.
