That decision triggered Trump to call for the impeachment of judges who have ruled against his administration. The judge, James Boasberg, is also weighing whether the Trump administration defied his order by deporting some Venezuelans to El Salvador after he demanded the March 15 flights be halted or turned around. Today marks one year without my soul cat, LucyFur. She took a piece of me with her a year ago. Losing her was harder than losing my parents (one to death and the other to going NC). She was there through all of it. Every now and again I catch a glimpse of her in the corner of my eye, though.

There is a group of 100+ students with signs in English & Spanish —did not have time to catch what they said—but I did hear them chanting “F*ck Donald Trump!”

But in Oklahoma, I know most of the people I encounter on a daily basis did vote 🍊. It’s horrifying. We are steadily trying to rebuild that trusted circle because how can you ever get past that this is what they wanted 🤯😭

I did make homemade soup for lunch though.
A black shelf of red solo cups (stacked two high with a marble between them so the first cup that has drainage holes can drain into the second cup), filled with soil and lit up with some garden lights and a shop light. It’s not fancy but it works.
After a two year hiatus, gardening is back 💜. My mom passed in 2023 when garden prep would normally start & it just didn’t happen.
The year beyond that my dad went wack-a-doodle & after 8 months of that trauma, I didn’t have a 2024 garden season in me.
The garden is making a 2025 comeback 💜💜

I made my MIL a hat and scarf for Christmas with the intention that she would feel the way she makes others feel when she wears it. She excitedly put it on and then almost immediately removed it. Haven’t seen her wear it once 🤣
