Funding will continue with existing distribution. With new scholarships (M and D) the agencies will distribute them so the ratios tend towards what the previous CGS ratios were (means CIHR will get more doc awards than what they had.) For the most part postdoc distribution will be 1:1:1

NSERC and SSHRC got more of the funding to increase award values because they have more awards. CIHR will get more of the $ associated with the 1720 new awards, mostly at Doc level. NSERC and SSHRC will see most of new awards at PDF level bringing them close to CIHR’s existing number.
