I used to walk past this housing every day. and now I walk past a parking lot.

I understand there is nuance. I understand there is more to the story. I even understand that other outlets may have reported on this, and I apologise that I framed this as a media problem. I just want to see more care for those who are marginalized in our city.

Another reality is that I did not see this factor highlighted - only the rigmarole of a scrapped project that turned a parking lot into a parking lot. I'm not saying the elite are hiding this from us, I'm saying that we can't forget the people this displaced.
