For example, I’ve been working with event-based sensor data a lot in the past months. But the industry opportunities within that paradigm might still be quite limited for a while.

Well, I would like to finish my degree this year still and since it’s only my thesis left I’d have to find one soon. 😁

For me it’s certain that I want to stay in Computer Vision. But it’s currently unclear to me which subfields within that topic I should focus on w.r.t. job opportunities etc.

Looks like it’s happening. Niantic’s AR games go to Scopely and geospatial AI business is spun off into a new company, Niantic Spatial Inc.

I like that, as I’m more invested in spatial AI than in collecting Pokemon. :)

Fixing the RANSAC Stopping Criterion

tl;dr: original RANSAC formula for number of iterations underestimates for hard cases and overestimates for easy. Here is corrected one -> better results
