I'm still going to celebrate a monster's death.

This was the offending article to save you a Google search (also there's no way I could have written this without someone getting mad at me, but wishing me death is extreme). www.motherjones.com/politics/202...
I maintain that pharmacy and medical students should be made to take an iron supplement twice daily and a calcium supplement three times daily just to see what that feels like.
Unethical? Yes.
Educational? YES.

MRIs are well outside my wheelhouse, but from talking to experts: trying to interpret a full body MRI in an asymptomatic person... Is very difficult.
It would be like me showing you an aerial photo of a whole city and asking you to "find the problem".
I think the biggest misconception people have about preventative/full body imaging is that they think it'll speak for itself.
Actual interpretation of everything from imaging the labs to even meds requires context: what is the problem? What are we trying to rule out?

2030: "A pair of thieves made off with a Rembrandt after successfully distracting Louvre Security by yelling 'Hey! What's that?!'"
Article on 2025 Louvre robbery stating thieves just drove a truck with a ladder up to the museum on a Sunday morning.
Wikipedia article on the 1911 theft of the Mona Lisa stating the thief walked in one morning when the museum was closed the visitors, grabbed the painting when the room was empty, wrapped it in a shirt and left.
Happy to see the tradition of "robbing the Louvre in the most basic way possible" return.
Except from email regarding Ontario Bill 33: WHAT IS BILL 33 Bill 33 is an omnibus bill currently at Second Reading that bundles unrelated reforms affecting child welfare, K-12 education, and post-secondary institutions. Schedule 3 of the bill targets colleges and universities through three dangerous provisions: Fee Regulations (Section 21.1): Gives Cabinet authority over student union fees, threatening health/dental plans, food programs, legal support, and advocacy services Merit-Based Admissions (Section 16.0.2): Allows Cabinet to control university admissions criteria, risking equity programs and comprehensive assessment

I agree. I think the destructiveness of gambling addiction/problem gambling never really reached the public eye?
I spent so much talking to people about ivermectin or HCQ or Azithro. So much time on vaccines making you magnetic or infertile or autistic.
There are valuable discussions to be had and questions to ask in healthcare. Those weren't it.
One of the insidious problems with medical disinformation is that it "hogs the air".
We spend time debunking BS and assuaging fears that we could have spent having actually valuable discussions.
