Republicans are always talking about skin in the game. If people who voted for war had to have their closest eligible relatives go fight, it might change our whole idea of what a “worthy” war is.

When I was first married, my husband was always messing up my clothes. I carefully made a list of what to put with what else, temps to use and what to take out before drying. He never got any better at it, and I realized that it wasn’t a priority for him, so he did his and I did mine. It worked.

I do hear Democrats raising the alarm over this, but their voices need to be picked up in the press, which is not happening a lot of places these days.

Obscene Wealth vs the people is not a single issue - it permeates every inequality and abuse to our world. It is THE ISSUE destroying our democracy, planet, and economic justice.

Watched 10 minutes of Trump bloviating, JD scanning the room, and Mikey bobbleheading vapidly. Then, switched to The People’s SOTU. It was inspirational in a way the SOTU never is. Seeing real people working for the betterment of ALL freezing their tushes off to get their messages out -YES!!!
